Darin Bevard is the director of Championship Agronomy for the USGA Green Section and is based out of Kennett Square, Pa. He oversees agronomic preparations for USGA championships with an emphasis on open championships.
Adam Moeller, director, Green Section Education

Moeller joined the Green Section's Northeast Region as an agronomist in 2008, conducting Course Consulting Service visits at golf courses in Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and Ontario. He now serves as director of Green Section Education, guiding education and outreach materials related to golf course management.
Cole Thompson Ph.D., director, Turfgrass and Environmental Research

Dr. Cole Thompson oversees the USGA Turfgrass and Environmental Research Program, which supports and conducts research to improve sustainability and advance turfgrass science principles that enhance management practices for golf courses.
Elliott Dowling, agronomist, Northeast Region

Elliott is an agronomist in the USGA Green Section’s Northeast Region based out of Oxford, Pa. He helps golf facilities maintain better playing conditions through USGA Course Consulting Service on-site visits, educational outreach and research throughout the region.

Dr. Steve Kammerer is the Senior Consulting Agronomist of the Green Section’s Southeast Region. His path to the USGA comes from the Ag-Chem industry following more than 25 years of experience in sales, technical service and research.

Addison Barden is an agronomist in the USGA Green Section’s Southeast Region based in Georgia. Addison has a rich combination of academic study focused on plant-insect interactions and broad practical experience at golf courses in the transition zone and South.
