Hilary Cronheim

Hilary Cronheim, Senior Director, USGA Museums and World Golf Hall of Fame

Hilary Cronheim is responsible for the strategic direction of the USGA's museums and the World Golf Hall of Fame. This includes strengthening its premier collections, delivering a robust calendar of exhibits and public programs, leveraging digital media to enhance access to our collections and ensuring that the USGA remains the global leader in preserving and celebrating the history of the game. Hilary began her career at the USGA as the Special Collections Librarian before assuming the role of Director, USGA Golf Museum and Library in 2019.

Hilary holds a master's degree in Art, Art History and Visual Studies from Duke University and a BA from Cornell University in the History of Art. Prior to her role at the USGA, Hilary pursued a Ph.D. at Duke University where she studied the fifteenth to seventeenth century Dutch and Flemish art market. She worked as the Director of Research and Market Analytics at BSJ Fine Art, a Research Assistant at The Frick Collection, and as a Research Assistant in the Department of Prints and Drawings at The Art Institute of Chicago.

Mike Trostel, Director, World Golf Hall of Fame

Mike Trostel oversees the World Golf Hall of Fame's selection process and induction ceremony, and is the main liaison with the Hall's 170 Members and their families.

Trostel first joined the USGA in 2006 as an intern and held several positions within the Association, including Curator, Historian and Museum Director. In 2024, he assumed his present role when the USGA took over the day-to-day operation of the World Golf Hall of Fame in Pinehurst.

Trostel earned a bachelor's degree in history from the College of William & Mary before pursuing a master's degree in American Studies from Lehigh University.

Stacy Schiff

Stacy Schiff, Assistant Director, Special Collections

Stacy Schiff is responsible for overall strategic direction and management of the Library and Special Collections, including special projects and digital initiatives for the historic photographic collections, archives, institutional records, and library collections. She administers and manages the Wilson Endowed Research Fund and the Herbert Warren Wind Award, develops Special Collections policies, manages cataloging and metadata projects, conducts research for the USGA and the public, and promotes the Collections to the scholarly community at large.

Stacy holds a master's degree in Library and Information Science with a concurrent concentration in Archival Studies from Queens College, City University of New York, a master's degree in Psychology from Seton Hall University, and a BA from the University of Rhode Island in Psychology and History. Prior to her role at the USGA, Stacy spent two years working at the Center for Fiction followed by 15 years as the Visual Resources Librarian at the Research Library of the American Museum of Natural History, both in New York City.

Danielle Butterly

Danielle Butterly, Collections Manager

Danielle Butterly oversees the stewardship, documentation, and preservation of USGA collections, including database management and oversight of storage and exhibition spaces. She also supports the USGA's robust exhibitions and loans program, contributes to collections care policies, and ensures compliance with professional standards while advancing long-term preservation and access initiatives.

Danielle holds a master's degree in Museum Professions from Seton Hall University. Prior to her role at the USGA, Danielle worked with institutions including the Rubin Museum of Himalayan Art, Cooper Hewitt Smithsonian Design Museum, and the National September 11 Memorial & Museum where her responsibilities included managing loans, coordinating traveling exhibitions, overseeing storage practices, developing collections workflows and gaining hands-on expertise in shipping logistics, installation planning and oversight, and preventative conservation.

Elizabeth Beeck

Elizabeth Beeck, Exhibitions Curator

Elizabeth Beeck is responsible for ideating, planning, and executing exhibitions at the USGA Golf Museum and World Golf Hall of Fame. Her work is driven by storytelling, which she also achieves through conducting research, generating content, offering tours, and working with media requests. Elizabeth joined the USGA in 2025.

Elizabeth holds a master's degree in Archives and Public History from New York University and a bachelor's degree in history from Loyola University Maryland. She spent over seven years at JPMorganChase first as the Reference Archivist and later the Head of Research Services in the firm's Corporate History Program. Elizabeth was the Assistant Archivist at the Archives of the Archdiocese of New York for over two years upon completion of her graduate degree.

Kylie Garabed

Kylie Garabed, Museum Registrar

Kylie Garabed is responsible for the day-to-day care of the museum's collection. Her work includes cataloging all museum acquisitions, storing objects carefully in the museum's climate-controlled storage space, and preparing artifacts for display in exhibitions and special events. Kylie's work ensures that all new objects that come into the collection are properly recorded so they can be made accessible to the public via exhibits and digital content.

Kylie began her career with the USGA in 2017 as an intern in the specials collection library before moving into a full-time role as Collections Assistant later that same year. Kylie holds a bachelor's degree in Humanistic Studies and Gender and Women Studies from Saint Mary's College in Notre Dame, Indiana and a professional certificate in Museum Studies from the University of Washington.

Bridget Casey

Bridget Casey, Special Collections Librarian

Bridget Casey is responsible for the overall operational aspects of the Library and Special Collections. This includes the acquisition and cataloging of materials, assisting with USGA cross-departmental projects, providing services to researchers, and preserving and caring for special collections materials.

Bridget holds a master's degree in information with a concentration in Archives and Preservation with a concurrent certificate in Cultural Heritage and Preservation Studies and a BA in History from Rutgers University. During her time in grad school, Casey was a Curatorial Intern at the Morven Museum & Garden and a Museum Services Intern at the Statue of Liberty National Monument & Ellis Island. She joined the USGA directly following her graduate studies.

Jackie Diller

Jackie Diller, Photo Editor & Digital Archivist

Jackie Diller specializes in visual preservation and contemporary sports and event documentation. In this dual role, they manage the digitization of the museum's historic photography collection, while also photographing new acquisitions for the museum and facilitating all external photography licensing and asset distribution. Additionally, Jackie oversees all ongoing photography operations for the USGA, including live championship coverage.

Jackie holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photographic & Imaging Arts with a focus in Photojournalism from the Rochester Institute of Technology. Combining a deep respect for historical archives with the fast-paced demands of modern photojournalism, Jackie bridges the gap between preserving the past and capturing sports history in the making.

Karen Geppert

Karen Geppert, Community Engagement Coordinator

Karen Geppert began her career at the USGA in 2010 as the USGA Museum Welcome Ambassador, serving as the first point of contact for all visitors. In 2018 she moved into her current role, where she is responsible for all aspects of visitor services, including managing the museum gift shop, executing public programs in Liberty Corner and working with clients interested in renting the facility for special events.

Jessica Bollinger

Jessica Bollinger, Assistant Manager, Events and Public Programs

Jessica Bollinger is responsible for developing and executing engaging public programs, special events, and visitor experiences that celebrate the history and culture of golf while strengthening connections with guests, members, and the local community.

Jessica holds a bachelor's degree and a Master of Business Administration from the University of North Dakota. She joined the USGA in 2025 and contributes to the organization's mission of preserving and celebrating the game through dynamic programming and meaningful community and visitor engagement.

Maggie Lagle

Maggie Lagle, Senior Manager, USGA Experience and World Golf Hall of Fame

Maggie Lagle is responsible for positioning the USGA Experience and World Golf Hall of Fame as a premier destination for visitors to Pinehurst, collaborating closely with colleagues across the USGA as well as partners including Pinehurst Resort, the Village of Pinehurst, and Moore County. She engages daily with a wide range of audiences, including USGA members, Foundation donors, resort guests, local golfers, and individuals involved in cultural activities throughout the region.

Maggie joined the USGA in March 2018 and has contributed to the organization's mission of preserving and celebrating the game through community engagement and visitor-focused initiatives. She holds a Master of Arts in Museum Studies from the University of Central Oklahoma and a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Missouri-St. Louis.
