USGA SMS Terms of Service

United States Golf Association (“USGA”) or its third party service provider uses text and short code (SMS) messaging to you on your cell phone in order to communicate with you and to provide general informational messages and, where you have provided your consent, promotional marketing messages. Message and data rates may apply. You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Reply “STOP” to any message or text "STOP" to the short code provided. After you send the SMS message "STOP" to us, we will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. If you want to join again, sign up as you did the first time, and we will start sending SMS messages to you again.

If you are experiencing issues with the messaging program, you can text “HELP” to the short code or reply “HELP” to any message. Message frequency may vary. As the program will involve the transmission and use of your personal information, it is subject to the USGA Privacy Policy. USGA may change or end the messaging program at its discretion, and content may not be available on all carriers.  USGA may add or remove carriers at our discretion and at any time without any notification. Participating carriers may include, but may not be limited to: AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile and other participating carriers, and usage is subject to their respective terms of service.  You can contact your wireless provider with any questions about your text or data plan. USGA and carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
