Player Registration
Player Registration will be conducted in the Player Services Office. Players may register beginning Saturday, June 13 at 12:00 p.m. Registration officially closes at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, June 15.
Registration hours are the following:
Saturday, June 13 12:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Sunday, June 14 6:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Monday, June 15 6:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Players must register in person during the hours listed above, unless they officially notify the USGA. Any player who has not registered on-site or has not notified the USGA by 6:00 p.m. on Monday, June 15, is subject to having his spot in the championship replaced by an alternate.
If a player has any questions about the registration process, please contact the Player Services Office at 908.748.4770. If any player has a question about the actual conduct of the championship, the player may contact Jeff Hall, Managing Director, Rules & Open Championships, at 908.781.1096 or by cell phone at 908.217.9432.
Credentials
Credentials will be distributed at Player Registration beginning Saturday, June 13. Each player will recieve a credential for himself and may request a maximum of twelve (12) complimentary credentials for family and/or guests. Of that quantity, a player may request all of the following:
- Four (4) "Player Guest" credentials for guests (including a spouse) which allow week-long access into Player
Hospitality tent located adjacent to the Locker Room. Player Hospitality is only for players, their spouses and
guests who have “Player Guest” credentials. " Player Guest" credentials do not allow inside-the-ropes
access. Due to space limitations, players will be strictly limited to a maximum of four “Player Guest”
credentials.
- Four (4) complimentary Trophy Club ticket packages which will allow week-long access to the
championship grounds and the Sports Bar; an exclusive climate-controlled tent featuring comfortable seating
and live television coverage of the U.S. Open. Food and beverage is available for an additional charge.
- Four (4) complimentary Gallery ticket packages which will allow week-long access to the championship
grounds.
In addition to the complimentary credentials above, each player may request up to two (2) complimentary credentials for their designated instructors. The “Player Instructor” credential will provide access to the Practice Facilities all week. This “Player Instructor” credential cannot be used by managers, agents or family members under any circumstance. Credential processing equipment will be set-up in Player Registration so that “Player Instructor” credentials featuring individual photos can be quickly produced on-site.
Each player will also receive up to two (2) armbands that grant their designee(s) inside-the-ropes access during the practice rounds only (Monday, June 15 – Wednesday, June 17). Please note that the player’s designee(s) can accompany only their designated player inside the ropes during the practice rounds. The USGA will be enforcing the policy that allows only players and caddies on the golf course’s putting greens. We want to provide the most pristine conditions possible for the championship so please assist us by asking your designees to follow this policy and stay off of the putting surfaces while inside the ropes.
Additional Tickets for Purchase
Up to ten (10) additional tickets per day (Gallery or Sports Bar) can be purchased at half-price during Player Registration and then in Player Services Office thereafter. Tickets may only be purchased by a player or player spouse.
