Golf House Pinehurst is a six-acre campus dedicated to sharing the USGA’s work to unify, showcase, govern and advance the game of golf.
The campus includes two buildings (the USGA Administration and Test Center, and the USGA Experience and World Golf Hall of Fame), and outdoor spaces built to showcase our work for golf.
The Administration and Test Center is the workspace for 70 of our USGA teammates and houses the Test Center – where all golf clubs and golf balls manufactured in the United States and Mexico are tested for conformance to the Rules of Golf.
The outdoor spaces include The Grove, built as a walkable space that helps to restore a piece of the ancient Longleaf Pine forest that once covered the Pinehurst area. It also includes The Glade, a working native plant and pollinator garden, with a meandering path that shares more about the USGA’s work to make golf courses more environmentally sustainable. There is also an event lawn for USGA and community private events.
The USGA encourages visitors to walk through the Glade and Grove at their leisure; the outdoor experience is accessible to the public free of charge as an active greenspace in the Village of Pinehurst.
