Save These Dates: USGA SE Regional Meeting March 24-25

Plans are set for the 2014 USGA Regional Meeting on March 24-25, 2014 at the Pinehurst Resort, Pinehurst, N.C. Co-sponsors of this meeting include the Carolinas Golf Course Superintendents Association, Carolinas Golf Association, and the South Carolina Golf Association.  This meeting will be enjoyable for anyone associated with golf including superintendents, club managers, golf professionals, golf course owners, golf course architects, Green and Golf Committees, and any golfer interested in the topics.

The Line Up  

March 24 – Golf at Pinehurst Course #8   

The format of play will be a two-person best-ball. There will be an entry fee of $75 per player that includes green and cart fees, prizes, and a reception following play.  Net and gross winners from each of the six flights will receive gift certificates. If you don’t have a partner, the Carolinas GCSA will pair you based on handicap. Foursomes will be assigned by the Carolinas GCSA. Those wishing to play must register for the March 25 meeting. Registration is limited to 120 golfers. 

March 25 – Meeting at Pinehurst Resort  

The meeting will be held at The Carolina Hotel at the Pinehurst Resort, Pinehurst, N.C.   The registration fee for the meeting is $75. The meeting features many outstanding topics and speakers:

How to Register  

Early reservations are suggested as this Regional Meeting historically sells out. Sign up is best done on the Carolinas Golf Course Superintendents website (http://www.carolinasgcsa.org). Simply click on the meeting event located on the home page calendar of events. Members and non-members can sign up from this location.

Registration forms are also available from the Carolinas GCSA and USGA SE Region offices. Forms may be faxed (864-843-1149) or mailed to the Carolinas GCSA office to complete the registration process.  Registration is also available by calling the CGCSA office (800-476-4272). Pesticide credits for superintendents and recertification points for PGA professionals will be available for attendees. Jackets are recommended for the men. Registration fees and lunch are included in the $75 fee.
