Divot and cart traffic damage are frequent topics of discussion during winter season TAS visits to golf courses in Florida. Polo is also an important winter season sport in Southeast Florida and field managers have their challenges with divot and traffic damage as well. This picture is from the goal post area of the Championship Field at the International Polo Club in Wellington, Florida, and was taken a few days after the final USPA Piagent Gold Cup Match. After filling all the large divots, the field will be dragged, rolled and mowed. The staff at the International Polo Club will be very busy over the next few weeks with maintaining top quality conditions for the season ending US Open Polo matches.
