David Staebler,
Director of Rules Education
David oversees the USGA's Rules of Golf education activities, from developing teaching methods and materials to communicating the Rules of Golf to golfers of all abilities. He oversees and teaches PGA/USGA Rules of Golf workshops and is presently working on the comprehensive online Rules of Golf education platform; the first two phases (the Rules Explained Video Series and the Rules Experience) can be found at www.USGA.org. David works every year at several USGA Championships, overseeing on-course Rules issues, course marking and daily course set-up. He has officiated at the U.S. Open, U.S. Women's Open, U.S. Senior Open, the Walker Cup and the PGA Championship.
