  • U.S. Girls' Junior
    The U.S. Girls’ Junior, established in 1949, is the world’s premier championship for female golfers 18 years of age or younger. Girls’ Junior champions have gone on to win the U.S. Women’s Amateur seven times and the U.S. Women’s Open six times.  

20 champions have gone on to represent the USA on the Curtis Cup Team. Notable winners of the U.S. Girls’ Junior include Nancy Lopez, Amy Alcott, Minjee Lee, Lexi Thompson and Rose Zhang.  

Along with possession of the Glenna Collette Vare Trophy for one year, the champion receives exemptions into the U.S. Women’s Amateur, the U.S. Women’s Open and an invitation to the Augusta National Women’s Amateur.
