Eligibility Open to any amateur golfer who has reached their 25th birthday as of Sept. 9 and whose Handicap Index does not exceed 3.4.
Qualifying Qualifying, over 18 holes, will take place at a number of to-be-determined sites between July 26 and Aug. 24.
2022 Championship Matthew McClean of the Republic of Ireland, defeated fellow countryman Hugh Foley, 3 and 1, in the 36-hole championship match at Erin Hills in Erin, Wis. It was the first-ever U.S. Mid-Amateur final between international players, and McClean became the second foreign-born champion, joining 2019 titlist Lukas Michel.
