Castren registered her first LPGA Tour victory a week after making her U.S. Women's Open debut at The Olympic Club. The Finn carded a final-round 65 at Lake Merced Golf Club in Daly City, Calif., to capture the LPGA Mediheal Championship. She also represented Europe on the victorious Solheim Cup Team. At Florida State, she won a school-record seven titles and established a school-best 72.52 scoring average over her four years (2014-17). She also represented Finland twice in the Women’s World Amateur Team Championship (2014 and 2016).
