The teenager from Thailand and LPGA Tour rookie broke through for her first victory on the circuit in late March when she defeated Nanna Koerstz Madsen in a playoff at the JTBC Classic presented by Barbasol. Thitikul carded a final-round 64 to get into the playoff, which lasted two holes. Thitikul became the youngest-ever winner on the Ladies European Tour at the age of 14 when she captured the 2017 Ladies European Thailand Championship. She has since won three more times on the LET. She also owns five Thai LPGA Tour victories. She was the low amateur in the 2018 Chevron Championship (then ANA Inspiration) and she was fifth in the 2021 Evian Championship.
