Vu will make her second U.S. Women's Open start, and first as a professional, after getting into the field as the first alternate from the St. Louis, Mo., site. Vu posted three victories on the Symetra Tour (Epson Tour) in 2019 to finish No. 1 on the money list and lock up her LPGA Tour card for the 2022 campaign. She won the Garden City Charity Classic, Twin Bridges Championship and the Four Winds Invitational. As an amateur, Vu was a member of the victorious 2018 USA Curtis Cup Team. She also played on the 2018 USA Women's World Amateur and Palmer Cup Teams. At UCLA, she was named the 2018 Pacific-12 Conference Player of the Year.
