The native of Shrewsbury, Mass., was the runner-up in the weather-shortened 2017 Evian Championship, falling in a playoff to Anna Nordqvist. Her lone professional victory is the 2016 Guardian Retirement Championship on the Symetra Tour, a five-hole playoff decision over Nicole Broch Larsen. Altomare represented the USA in the 2019 and 2021 Solheim Cups. As a collegian, she posted three victories for the University of Virginia and was the 2013 Atlantic Coast Conference Player of the Year.
