Emrey will make her U.S. Women's Open debut after getting into the field as the first alternate from the Southern Pines, N.C., site. She posted a 36-hole total of 144 and was involved in a 3-for-1 playoff for the final spot. Her lone professional victory to date is the 2015 Colorado Women's. Open. Emery was an All-American and All-Atlantic Coast Conference performer at Wake. She won the 2009 North & South Girls Junior at Pinehurst Resort & Country Club. Finished eighth on the Symetra Tour (now Epson Tour) money list in 2021 to earn her LPGA Tour card for the 2022 season.
