Steen, a three-time winner on the Symetra Tour (now Epson Tour), will make her fourth U.S. Women's Open start after shooting 1-under-par 141 (71-70) at Shannopin Country Club. The Cincinnati, Ohio, native registered all three of her Symetra wins in 2014 to earn a "battlefield promotion" to the LPGA Tour. She also was the Symetra Tour's Player of the Year for the 2014 season. Has battled a variety of injuries throughout her career, including an ankle that sidelined her a majority of the 2018 LPGA Tour season. Last summer, she tied for 10th in the AIG Women's British Open at Carnoustie.
