Road to Olympic: Qualified at Morongo Golf Resort at Tukwet Canyon (Champions Course) in Beaumont, Calif.
Strom will make her second consecutive U.S. Women’s Open start after surviving a 6-for-2 playoff for the final spots on April 26. Strom opened the 2020 championship at Champions Golf Club with a 69 and finished tied for 13th. She turned pro in 2018 after spending 2½ years at Arizona State University, where she won the 2016 Pacific-12 Conference title and helped the Sun Devils to the 2017 NCAA championship, along with fellow 2021 qualifier Monica Vaughn. She was a two-time first-team All-American (2016 and 2017). Prior to arriving in Tempe, Strom was the runner-up in the 2015 British Ladies Amateur and she won the 2014 Spanish Women’s Amateur. After turning pro, she was named the Symetra Tour’s rookie of the year for the 2018 season, where she posted her lone professional victory to date.
