The native of Johannesburg, South Africa, has registered three of her professional victories on the Ladies European Tour (LET), the last coming in the 2018 Investec South African Women’s Open. It was her third South African Women’s Open title, but her previous two were not sanctioned by the LET. Buhai came close to breaking through for her first LPGA Tour win in 2020 at the Cambia Portland Classic, losing a playoff to Georgia Hall. Buhai represented South Africa in a pair of Women’s World Amateur Team Championships (2004, 2006).
