The past All-American at Furman University will make her second U.S. Women’s Open start and first as a professional after missing the cut in 2017. Srinivasan turned professional in 2020 after a stellar college career that included winning the 2020 Annika Award as the top college player in the COVID-19-shortened season. She also was named the 2020 Women’s Golf Coaches Association’s Player of the Year. Her 70.58 stroke average over 18 rounds was a single-season record at a school that has produced the likes of two-time U.S. Women’s Open champion Betsy King and major champion Dottie Pepper. In 2018, the Spartanburg, S.C., native was named the Southern Conference’s Player of the Year.
