Road to Olympic: Top four finisher in Ladies European Tour’s Investec South African Women’s Open

The Ladies European Tour player is set to make her U.S. Women’s Open debut. In 2012, Lampert helped Germany to a runner-up showing in the Women’s World Amateur Team Championship. She also captured consecutive German Girls Open titles in 2011 and 2012. Her lone victory since turning professional in 2013 is the 2015 Azores Ladies Open in Portugal on the LET’s Access Series. Three years ago, she finished runner-up to Ashleigh Buhai in the South African Women’s Open, and she arrives at The Olympic Club fresh off a share of third in that same event. Lampert’s brother, Moritz, has competed on the PGA European Tour.
