The 2013 U.S. Women’s Amateur champion is making her seventh start in a U.S. Women’s Open after taking the second of two spots in St. Peters, Mo. Talley, an All-American at the University of Alabama who won the 2015 NCAA title, owns one professional victory, the 2017 Island Resort Championship on the Symetra Tour. She claimed the 2013 U.S. Women’s Amateur at the Country Club of Charleston, beating Yueer Cindy Feng, 2 and 1, in the 36-hole final. She also clinched the winning point for the 2014 USA Curtis Cup Team at St. Louis C.C. and represented her country in the 2014 Women’s World Amateur Team Championship. Earned low-amateur honors in 2014 Women’s British Open.
