The first-year professional will make her U.S. Women's Open debut after posting 2-under-par 142 (67-75) at Buckinghamshire Golf Club in England. Sonderby spent one season at the University of Mississippi, helping the Rebels claim their first NCAA title in May 2021 before deciding to leave the program to pursue a professional career on the Ladies European Tour. She currently owns two top-15 finishes in 2022. As an amateur, she was the runner-up in the 2019 Danish Match Play and was a member of the Danish National Team.
