Morgan is set to make her U.S. Women's Open debut after qualifying at Mid Pines Inn & Resort in a 5-for-2 playoff for the final spots. She finished the 36-hole qualifier at even-par 144 (71-73). The Furman junior led the Paladins to the 2022 Southern Conference title with her tie for ninth. The Spartanburg, S.C., native was medalist in two other college tournaments in 2021-22: the Lady Paladin Invitational and UNF Collegiate. Named the 2020-21 Southern Conference Player of the Year. Advanced to the Round of 32 of the 2021 U.S. Women's Amateur.
