Gifted with a powerful swing and ebullient personality, Yin first made a name for herself in the 2017 Solheim Cup as a captain’s pick by Juli Inkster. She scored 1.5 points in three matches for the victorious USA side. Yin was also a member of the 2019 Solheim Cup Team. Yin reached the championship match of the 2015 U.S. Girls’ Junior, where she fell to Eun Jeong Seong, 3 and 2, at Tulsa (Okla.) Country Club. Yin turned professional after graduating from Arcadia (Calif.) High School. Her only victory to date is the 2017 Omega Dubai Ladies Classic on the Ladies European Tour. In the 2019 U.S. Women's Open at the Country Club of Charleston (S.C.), Yin was one of three players to finish tied for second.
