Anannarukarn will make her second consecutive U.S. Women’s Open start after missing the cut in December at Champions Golf Club. She shared medalist honors with Alison Lee on April 26 to qualify (3-under 141). She turned professional at 18 after posting six victories as an amateur on the Thai LPGA. She earned her LPGA Tour card after tying for 39th in the inaugural LPGA Q Series. In 2019, Anannarukarn was fourth in the Louise Suggs Rolex Rookie of the Year standings by making 16 of 19 cuts and finishing 71st on the money list. She also finished T-14 in the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship, her best result in a major championship.
