Castren will make her U.S. Women’s Open debut after sharing medalist honors on May 10 with Louise Stahle (6-under 136). Since turning professional in 2017, Castren has one victory, the 2020 Mission Inn Resort and Club Championship on the Symetra Tour. At Florida State, she won a school-record seven titles and established a school-best 72.52 scoring average over her four years (2014-17). Castren played in the 2020 KPMG Women’s PGA Championship, where she tied for 23rd. As an amateur, she represented Finland twice in the Women’s World Amateur Team Championship (2014 and 2016).
