Szokol will make her U.S. Women’s Open debut after claiming medalist honors on May 3 at Bradenton. At 3-under 139, she was the only player in the field to break par. Szokol’s lone professional victory to date is the 2018 IOA Invitational on the Symetra Tour, where she finished fourth on the money list to gain LPGA Tour status for the 2019 season. The Winnetka, Ill., native spent two years at Northwestern University before transferring to the University of Virginia.
