The native of Johannesburg, South Africa, has registered three of her professional victories on the Ladies European Tour (LET), the last coming in the 2018 Investec South African Women’s Open. It was her third South African Women’s Open title, but her previous two were not sanctioned by the LET. Buhai came close to breaking through for her first LPGA Tour win earlier this summer at the Cambia Portland Classic, losing a playoff to Georgia Hall. The runner-up finish earned Buhai her seventh start in the championship. Buhai represented South Africa in a pair of Women’s World Amateur Team Championships (2004, 2006).
