2017 Championship Kelsey Chugg, 26, of Salt Lake City, Utah, claimed the title in her first-ever appearance, defeating 58-year-old Mary Jane Hiestand, 3 and 1, in the final match at Champions Golf Club in Houston, Texas. The competition was moved to Champions G.C. and held five weeks later than scheduled due to Hurricane Irma. The hurricane damaged Quail Creek Country Club in Naples, Fla., enough to force USGA officials to move the competition.
