Course Overview
Portland Golf Club
Opened in 1914 by a small group of businessmen, the club is best known for hosting the 1946 PGA Championship, won by Ben Hogan, and for reviving the Ryder Cup in 1947 after a 10-year hiatus for World War II. The Women’s Amateur will be the club’s third USGA championship.
