San Martin, Calif. - On the second day of the USA-China Youth Golf Matches, China defeated the USA, 9 to 7 at CordeValle Golf Resort.
The USA led the match 5 1/2 points to China’s 2 1/2 points after Thursday's first round.
The match, featuring teams consisting of eight 14 to 16 year old boys and girls per side, was aimed at fostering friendship through golf. It was being jointly conducted by the United States Golf Association and the China Golf Association.
