Song-Hee Kim, of Korea, has withdrawn from the 2012 U.S. Women's Open due to a sore neck and back. Kim, who had played in the five previous Women’s Opens and made the cut in all of them, has been replaced in the field by Cathryn Bristow, of New Zealand, the second alternate from the Frisco, Texas, qualifying site. Bristow, who attended the University of Oregon, will tee off from the first tee at 2:09 p.m. CDT.
