Title: U.S. Open Long Term Admissions Intern
Location: USGA Headquarters, Liberty Corner, N.J.
Position Timeframe: March through June 2019

Are you looking to join a dynamic team that works together to promote and conserve the true spirit of the game of golf?
The purpose of the positions is to learn and assist with all aspects of the U.S. Open fan customer service including the on-site Will Call function. Once on-site, you will be credentialed as a USGA Staff member as we prepare and manage the Will Call process around the course.
What you can expect:
- Assist the admissions office with day to day functions
- Assist with special projects and mailings.
- Respond and take action on emails and calls from current and potential ticket buyers
- Assist with U.S. Open ticket distribution
- Help with the ticket and credential fulfillment for all USGA Staff
- Follow up with all returned mail from ticket fulfillment
What You Bring to the USGA:
- Clear and professional phone manners
- Organized and detail oriented
- Basic computer skills
- Able to work independently
- Strong Customer Service
- Ability to multitask
- Golf knowledge
- Previous Ticketing experience
- Three weeks of travel in June 2019
Physical Demands/Working Environment:
- Working in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to lift or move up to 30lbs.
