Chris Fraser
Chief Philanthropy Officer
Chris leads all functions associated with the USGA Foundation, including the USGA Membership program. He brings more than three decades of legal and business experience to this role as well as a lifelong passion for the game, growing up playing public courses in central New Jersey. Prior to joining the USGA in 2017, Chris served as senior vice president, deputy general counsel for HP, Inc., where he led a team of 50 legal professionals and oversaw commercial, HR, antitrust, regulatory, and general corporate matters globally. In addition to his CPO duties, Chris also serves as the industry legal leader for the Official World Golf Rankings and all USGA projects related to governmental affairs.
He has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Notre Dame, as well as a master’s degree in journalism and juris doctor from Columbia University.
