2021 U.S. Women's Ticket Launch FAQs

1: Are you selling tickets?

A limited number of tickets will be available for purchase for fans that meet the following criteria:   

  • Subject to the exceptions described in Q6 and Q7, State of California residents must show proof that vaccination against COVID-19 has been completed at least 14 days before the championship or that a negative result from a COVID test taken within 48 hours prior to attending the championship.   

  • Subject to the exceptions described in Q6 and Q7, out-of-state fans must provide proof that vaccination against COVID-19 has been completed at least 14 days prior to attending the championship.

2: I live outside of the State of California. Am I eligible to purchase tickets?  

Yes. It will be mandatory for all out-of-state fans to provide proof that vaccination against COVID-19 has occurred at least 14 days prior to the championship unless you fall under one of the exceptions described in Q6 and Q7. 

3: How do I prove that I have been vaccinated?  

To show proof of vaccination, present your vaccination card or other documentation of vaccination from a healthcare provider (a legible copy or photo of such card or document is acceptable) which includes your name, type of vaccine provided (e.g., Pfizer, Moderna, Johnson & Johnson) and the date you received your final dose. To be fully vaccinated, the final dose must be administered at least 14 days prior to entry into the event. Adults 18 and older must also show a photo ID which matches any supporting documentation.  

4: If I am not fully vaccinated, how soon before the event will I need to get a COVID-19 Test? 

 Subject to updated guidance from the state and local health officials, fans must provide proof of a negative result from a COVID test taken within 72 hours prior to entry into the championship.  Adults 18 and older must also show a photo ID which matches any supporting documentation. 

5: What if I am unable to provide proof of vaccination or verification of testing? 

If you are unable to provide proof of vaccination or verification of testing (California residents only) and you do not fall under one of the exceptions described in Q6 and Q7, you will not be permitted to attend the championship and your ticket may be forfeited. 

6: What If I am unable to be vaccinated for medical reasons?  Am I eligible to attend the championship?

Yes, if you have a medical condition that makes it unsafe to be vaccinated, you may instead show proof of a negative result from a COVID test taken within 72 hours prior to attending the championship, even if you are not a California resident.

7: If I had COVID in the past 90 days, do I still need to show proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test to attend the championship?

No, if you had COVID within the last 90 days, and you are past your CDC recommended isolation period of 10 days and your symptoms have significantly improved, you do not need to provide proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test result.  However, you will need to provide proof of a positive result from a COVID test taken within 90 days prior to your entry into the Championship. Adults 18 and older must also show a photo ID which matches any supporting documentation. 

8: What days can I attend the championship?

Tickets will be available to purchase for all four championship rounds, Thursday, June 3 – Sunday, June 6.

9: How many tickets will I be able to purchase?

A: Fans may purchase a maximum of two tickets for a single day. 

10: When will tickets go on sale for the U.S. Women’s Open?

Tickets for individuals that meet the health and safety guidelines will go on sale to priority groups via the following schedule:   

11: How will I receive my tickets? 

Approximately one week prior to the event, you will receive an email with a link to your mobile tickets.

12: Are all ticket types the same?

Yes, all tickets are general admission grounds passes. 

13: Will food and beverages will be available at the course?

Food and beverage options will be available for purchase on the property. Everything must be consumed while seated within designated locations. 

14: What precautions will be taken for spectators?

We will follow guidelines as dictated by local and state authorities. More information will be made available closer to the championship.

15: Will face coverings be required? 

Yes.

17: What is your junior ticket policy? 

Due to limited capacity, complimentary tickets for juniors will not be offered this year. Testing requirements will be updated at a later date per City and County of San Francisco guidelines. 

18: What is your military policy? 

We will have additional information on access for military and first responders in the coming weeks. 

19: Will there be parking for the U.S. Women’s Open?

Complimentary parking will be onsite at The Olympic Club. Directions and specific information will be shared at a date closer to the championship.

20: When will I receive my parking pass?

Approximately one week prior to the event, you will receive an email with a link to your mobile tickets and mobile parking pass if applicable.
