A Conversation With Danny Woodhead
Danny Woodhead, who played 10 seasons in the NFL as an undrafted free agent running back out of Division II Chadron State, is competing in his first USGA championship with partner and fellow Omaha (Neb.) Country Club member Michael Wilhelm in this week's 6th U.S. Amateur Four-Ball Championship at Chambers Bay, in University Place, Wash., and stroke-play co-host The Home Course, in DuPont, Wash. The USGA recently chatted with Woodhead about qualifying for the championship and his passion for the game.
