Ronald G. Dodson is the founder, President, and Chief Executive Officer of Audubon International. He created the Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary System (including programs for schools, backyards, corporate properties, and golf courses) and the Audubon Signature Cooperative Sanctuary program designed for properties in the planning and design stages of development.

He is also Director of the Audubon International Institute which conducts research and provides environmental planning assistance in regard to sustainable development and sustainable communities and he is chairman of the Board of the Audubon Society of New York State, Inc., which he also founded, to focus on environmental issues specific to New York State.

Prior to 1985, Ron served as Regional Vice President of the National Audubon Society, Executive Director of the Western Kentucky Environmental Planning Agency, and as a biology instructor at both the high school and college level. Ron holds a B.S. in Wildlife Biology from Oakland City University and a M.S. in Natural Resource Management from Indiana State University.

Ron has also written numerous articles for publications such as the Green Section Record, Golf Course Management, and Golf Course News and has recently completed his new book, Managing Wildlife on Golf Courses.
