Commencing January 1, 2005, the United States Golf Association® will begin a licensing program that will require every golf club that wishes to utilize the USGA Handicap System™ in the United States to be licensed by the USGA®.
The online application is available to a golf club that is not a member club of an authorized golf association.
A golf club that is a member club of an authorized golf association should contact its golf association regarding the USGA Handicap System Licensing Program for Clubs before proceeding.
