USGA Announces Advance Opportunity
To Members For 2010 U.S. Open

Far Hills, N.J. - The United States Golf Association has announced that it will offer USGA Members a limited-time advance opportunity to enter a random drawing to purchase tickets for the 2010 U.S. Open at Pebble Beach Golf Links in Pebble Beach, Calif. This advance opportunity to apply for tickets prior to the general public is one of the many benefits of USGA Membership .

From March 1 to April 15 (5 p.m. ET), applications for weekly Lodge Premier ($1,150 per package), Trophy Club ($675 per package) and Grounds Only ($425 per package) ticket packages will be available online at Pebble Beach tickets . Members may send a request via mail to: 2010 U.S. Open, c/o USGA, P.O. Box 1500, Far Hills, N.J. 07931-1500.

 

Only one application per Membership will be accepted. Each application will be permitted to purchase as many as four ticket packages. A past survey indicated that 83 percent of USGA Members felt that the opportunity to apply for U.S. Open tickets prior to the general public was a "valuable benefit."
 

The Lodge Premier Package provides access to the grounds as well at The Lodge at Pebble Beach, including the Terrace Lounge, an outdoor patio and resort restaurant (food and beverage at additional purchase). The Lodge Premier Package includes:

  • One ticket for each day of the championship - three practice, four championship and one playoff round, if regulation play ends in a tie
  • A voucher for one complimentary copy of the official U.S. Open program
  • Premier parking within Del Monte Forest
  • Shuttle-bus transportation to and from the parking area to the championship entrance

The Trophy Club Package provides access to the grounds as well as the Trophy Club, an exclusive, on-site, air-conditioned tented facility offering a relaxed atmosphere and food and beverage for additional purchase. The Trophy Club Package includes:

  • One ticket for each day of the championship - three practice, four championship and one playoff round, if regulation play ends in a tie
  • A voucher for one complimentary copy of the official U.S. Open program
  • Parking
  • Shuttle bus-transportation to and from the parking area to the championship entrance

The Grounds Only Package provides access to the grounds and includes:

  • One ticket for each day of the championship - three practice, four championship and one playoff round, if regulation play ends in a tie
  • A voucher for one complimentary copy of official U.S. Open program
  • Parking
  • Shuttle-bus transportation to and from the parking area to the championship entrance

No telephone or faxed orders will be accepted. Ticket questions can be directed via e-mail to ticketquestions@usga.org or via phone to (800) 698-0661. Written notification concerning whether a ticket application has been selected in the random drawing will be mailed to you by May 31. No ticket information will be given out via telephone or e-mail.

If a ticket application is not selected in the USGA Members' random drawing, the entrant will automatically be sent a ticket application for the general public random drawing.

Juniors, age 12 and younger, will be admitted free of charge, on any day, when accompanied by a paid adult ticket holder. There is a maximum of two junior tickets per one adult ticket. These junior tickets will be available at the Will Call facility and all admission gates.

Tickets for juniors age 13 to 17 are available for purchase at a reduced rate when accompanied by a paid adult ticket holder (practice rounds-$15; championship rounds-$35). To receive information on purchasing junior tickets, check the box on the order form. Information will be mailed out after the random drawing.  These junior tickets can also be purchased by credit card onsite during the championship at the Will Call facility and all admission gates.
