The Golf Channel To Air Top 10
Moments From '08 U.S. Open Tonight February 3, 2009
This week the PGA Tour makes its annual return to San Diego
for the Buick Invitational at Torrey Pines Golf Course,
where eight months ago Tiger Woods endured not only a
physical battle with his injured knee, but also an epic
challenge from loveable underdog Rocco Mediate in what
become one of the most memorable U.S. Opens in the
illustrious history of the championship. Woods, the world's No. 1 player, outlasted Mediate in a
dramatic 19-hole Monday playoff that drew some 20,000
on-course spectators and millions of viewers on television
and the Internet. So what was your favorite moment from the
championship? Certainly the editors at The Golf Channel had a tough
task narrowing that list to 10 for its Top 10 Moments from
the 2008 U.S. Open that airs tonight at 9 p.m. EST. The
30-minute show features video highlights and interviews
with USGA officials. For more information, log on to
