The Pynes Is Now Open For Play
With the opening on Sept. 23 of the
16,000-square-foot Pynes Putting Course,
visitors to the recently renovated USGA Museum
and Arnold Palmer Center for Golf History in
Far Hills, N.J., can now take golf history into
their own hands, playing a nine-hole course
using replicas of classic putters, including
Bob Jones' famous Calamity Jane II.
"It's a great way to hook golfers on
the history of the game," said Rand
Jerris, director of the USGA Museum.
