Semple Thompson's Mother Cards 2 Aces

It's hard to steal the spotlight away from your daughter when her name is Carol Semple Thompson and has won seven USGA amateur titles to go along with qualifying for 32 U.S. Women's Opens. But her 80-something mother, Phyllis, was the talk of The St. Andrews Club in Delray Beach, Fla., Feb. 4 when she recorded two holes-in-one in her round on the par-3 course with Carol.

Her first came on the 88-yard fourth hole and the next at No. 10, which played 90 yards. Both times her 6-wood didn't fail her.
