They are geared for those interested in learning more about the Handicap System and to assist authorized State and Regional Golf Associations in meeting the requirements of the 2002-2005 Handicap Certification Program.
The sessions are a one-day overview of the USGA Handicap System that includes: Handicap Committee responsibilities; the Handicap System formula; handicap allowances; handicap stroke allocations; and an insight into golf course measuring and the Course Rating System.
