How do I give a gift
membership? topIf you would like to give a gift membership to a friend or
family member, you can contact the Members Program Customer
Service Department at 800-223-0041. They will take your gift
membership and credit card payment information over the
telephone. Also, you can obtain a
gift membership request form
on this site.
Prior to delivery of the recipient's benefits, a gift
card will be sent to the gift recipient, with a message that
they will be receiving a gift from the name of the donor, and a
confirmation card will be sent to the donor, for tax deductible
purposes.
When the membership is up for renewal, you, as the gift
giver, will receive the first three renewal notices. If you
choose not to renew the membership, the fourth and fifth
notices will go to the USGA Member, who can then decide whether
they would like to renew their membership.
Please keep in mind that it can take 4-6 weeks to process a
payment and mail out the membership benefits. If you need the
gift for a particular holiday or birthday, please order well in
advance.
