MGA Technical Support Intern

March 2007 thru August 2007

This internship involves acting as a technical support liaison to all MGA member clubs using the USGA/GHIN handicap service with strong emphasis on technical support.

- Ideal candidate will have general help desk experience in supporting Windows XP, Windows 2000, Office 2000 and Office 2003 and possess the ability to troubleshoot small networks as well as peripherals.
- Must have strong problem solving skills, troubleshooting knowledge and ability to work with little guidance.
- Assist member clubs with technical support of GHIN software.
- Willingness to work in a team-oriented structure with emphasis on customer service ideals.
- Golf background helpful, but not required.
- Car and willingness to travel (locally).

- Hourly Rate and Travel Expense Reimbursement
- Hours are flexible according to individual.

- The MGA offers individuals an opportunity to work in a environment that is not only challenging, but also fun. Candidates for the intern position should know that they would be expected to act in a professional manner at all times.
- Candidate must have a valid driver’s license and their own transportation. He or she will be willing to travel within the Metropolitan New York area. Willing to work a 40-hour standard workweek, with the understanding that there would be some overtime hours required.
