Senior Web Developer

Reports to:

Manager of Internet Services

Position Summary:

Assist Manager of Internet Services in the development of online applications, design and deployment of championship web sites and maintenance of the USGA web properties.

Responsibilities

 
  • Design, develop and maintain the various components of the USGA Championship hub and 2 Open championship websites
  • Provide design and development support for USGA.ORG and its’ Content Management System
  • Design, develop and maintain all new and existing Flash applications
  • Provide in-house design support for all new sites and the redesign of existing sites
  • Develop, implement and monitor editorial and production schedules

Working Relationships

  • All USGA Departments
  • Third-party developers / vendors / service providers
  • Web Site hosting companies

Knowledge, Education, Skills & Abilities

  • Extensive experience of HTML, CSS, ActionScript, JavaScript, SQL, ASP and video codecs
  • Extensive experience of Photoshop, Dreamweaver and Flash
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Visual Studio, ASP.Net, VB.Net (or C#.Net)
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server or Access
  • Knowledge of golf
  • Good communication skills
