Assist and Collaborate with USGA Departments to Develop and Implement New Benefits and/or Product Enhancements for Membership Program
Responsible for coordinating and meeting with both the Renewal/Acquisition teams within the Membership department as well as select USGA departments on a regular basis to assess and develop member opportunities; video content, products, services benefits or messaging to support membership growth and retention. Primary responsibility is to prepare recommendations to team for management approval. Develop all supporting marketing for approved concepts and implementation of approved programs/benefits. Responsible for preparing an expense review on new benefits, identify potential vendors or work with various departments to ensure execution is timely, on budget and a positive customer experience. Maintain this information for historical perspective.
In the Exploratory Phase of all new benefits and/product enhancements the expectation is to assess the following prior to making recommendations: revenue impact, competitive offers impact to organizations strategic objectives, operations, production and associated costs.
Maintain extensive knowledge of current golf market conditions and industry trends to generate reports for key staff. Maintain business development library and digital archives on business cases and companies.
Support in the Membership Communications Strategy Development and Management of Department Plan
Manage the overall communications plan for members program across all channels: direct mail, online and paid media programs. This person will be responsible for monitoring the communications stream to members (gatekeeper to approving & streamlining across departments communications to our Members) and measure the impact of such communication where applicable. In addition, assist in the development and implementation of new/enhanced “loyalty building” communication plan to increase retention rates among current USGA Membership base. Responsible for reporting trends and benchmarks to all appropriate parties.
Review results associated with Renewal/Acquisition marketing plans, tests and program changes for the purpose of providing recommendations for future program or product improvements in the membership program.
