Position Summary: 


Duties 

We are currently seeking qualified individuals with a desire to make a difference for the position of Junior Golf Development Manager in our Player Development Department at PGA Headquarters in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. The Junior Golf Development Manager will be responsible for implementing and managing PGA of America’s youth development strategies, including PGA Sports Academy, PGA Junior Golf League, and partnership with the Boys and Girls Club of America, plus serve a lead PGA contact with allied organizations, Sections and other junior golf entities. This position will serve the Player Development department as it relates to delivering progressive youth development programming; from introductory, through development, and into competitive creating lifelong core golfers. This will be done by leveraging and integrating Association, allied, industry and green grass assets and initiatives. The PGA of America is an Equal Opportunity Employer and A Drug Free Workplace. Knowledge, Education, Skills & Abilities 

  • B.A. in business, marketing or related field with a minimum of seven years’ experience in junior golf program management, including familiarity with the PGA, industry and youth development programs.
  • Proven administrative experience working in a Section Office or with other golf association is preferred.
  •  Experience working with committees, PGA Members, PGA Sections and /or state and regional golf associations.
  • Three years of proven ability in leading a team and managing staff. PGA Member preferred.
  • Characteristics candidates should possess, include very professional, strong presentation skills, highly organized, enthusiastic, desire for a career in golf administration and ability to think strategically.
