Assistant Manager, U.S. Open Admissions
 

Position Summary: 

Coordinator will be responsible for handling U.S. Open customer service for ticket buyers.  This will include ticket inquiries, mailings, ticket fulfillment, address changes and general championship questions.   Although this position is mostly customer service, it is very diverse and requires flexibility. The position will require overtime during the U.S. Open season.

Additionally, this position will require travel to the U.S. Open. 

 


Duties 

  • On a daily basis respond and take action on all emails, phone calls and voicemail from current and potential ticket buyers. Understand details of all ticket offers and fields within the ticket database.  Enter complimentary tickets and approved refunds into the ticket database. Monitor online applications to ensure all are functioning properly and alert if any problems occur.  Handle the U.S. Open transportation and ADA hotline including compiling the information and providing it to the spectators that call.

 

  • Maintain schedule for confirmation notice mailings for all new ticket orders and assist with in house ticket distribution. Follow up with all returned mail including confirmations and tickets and make the appropriate changes to the ticket database. Responsible for maintaining sufficient supply of inserts for each confirmation notice mailing.

 

  • General office duties will include donation request letters, maintain and update all U.S. Open files and organize/order all office supplies.  Work on-site during the U.S. Open in Will Call to handle phone calls and make any necessary adjustments.

 

  • Assist with special projects, as needed.

  • Strong Customer Service experience
  • Golf knowledge - helpful but not required
