Far Hills, N.J. – One of the many things Don Collett has
done during his long career as a golf professional was
play the first round ever on the South Course at Torrey
Pines when it opened in 1957. He was joined that day by
major champions Paul Runyan, Ralph Guldahl and Olin Dutra.
